• Show of Private Collections organised by the Munxar local Council on Munxar Day 12 December 2004

• Munxar Day
A set of stamps depiciting 'Letter Boxes' was issued by Maltapost plc on 12th March 2004. The 22c values shows a King George V wall letter box found on an old building at St.Paul Street, Munxar. This letter box was manufactured by W.T. Allen & Co. of London. It is interesting to note that the letter V for fifth is not included on the Royal Cypher.

To commemorate the Munxar Day 2004, the Local Council issued a post card franked by the Munxar Letter Box stamp. The stamp was specially hand cancelled at the temporary Branch Post Office set up in Muncar on Sunday 12th December 2004, during a philatelic exhibition organized for the occasion by the Gozo Phiolatelic Society.
